The REACH regulation (CE) Nº 1907/2006 is the acronym of Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals. This regulation, which is directly applicable to all European Union member states, establishes provisions applicable to manufacture, imports, business or use of chemicals substances and/or substances in items. The OK REACH certificate, provided by AITEX, ensures that the item or reference meets the requirements by the REACH regulation to textile and leather items, referred in its Annex XVII (Restrictions on the manufacture, marketing and use of certain substances, preparations and hazardous items) and Annex XIV (substances content of high concern- SVHC in concentrations no higher than 0.1% in the item).

Air quality for environments with children For all products to be used in schools, nurseries or environments where children spend long periods of time, the Greenguard Gold certification establishes the strictest possible requirements in terms of the emission of pollutants inside buildings. Children are more sensitive to environmental exposure than adults. Their bodies and brains are still developing, they breathe faster and receive higher doses of pollutants in relation to their weight. Taking these two factors into account, we applied a more restrictive correction factor to the maximum levels of emission permitted in the current Greenguard Indoor Air Quality certification, while also including new restricted substances.
